Selling foreign rights for three years: June is always a celebratory month for 2 Seas as not only does it ring in the official start of summer, but it also marks our anniversary!

On June 28, 2011 we sent out our very first newsletter, hence launching ourselves into this great foreign rights adventure.
Three amazing years of immense fun, selling foreign rights, growing our client list and foreign rights catalog, meeting inspiring and passionate international publishing professionals and authors, spreading international publishing news and resources, and learning new things every day.
In those three years, we’ve set up our mobile office in places as diverse as Beijing, Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt, New York, London, Berlin, San Francisco and Rio de Janeiro. We also helped putting the small but beautiful town of Ojai*, California on the international publishing map as this is where our headquarters are based.
Thank you all for your ongoing support and enthusiasm — we look forward to continuing the 2 Seas adventure with you for many years to come!
* pronounced as ‘oʊhaɪ, or “oh-hy”
