Sr Agent Chrys has once again done a great job to get these rights catalogs ready, before I leave to Europe at the end of February. Kudos to you!
It is essential in the international publishing business to constantly go out and have personal meetings with acquiring editors, scouts and other publishing professionals at book fairs and on their home turf. So time has come for me to set off on yet another international 2 Seas Tour!
Before Chrys joins me at the London Book Fair from March 10-12, my 2020 spring meeting marathon first takes me to Amsterdam and one day of meetings in London prior to the start of the LBF. After London, I’ll be off to Paris to attend Livre Paris, see our French clients and meet with French scouts and acquiring French editors at their offices. The next and final leg of my tour will take me to Milano! There I will see some of our Italian clients, Italian scouts as well as acquiring Italian editors.
Chrys and I look very much forward to seeing many of you again soon!
It was just announced that the Bologna Book Fair has been rescheduled for May 4-7, but at the time of writing the LBF will run as scheduled. If you are concerned about the Coronavirus, check the LBF website for updates. The WHO is also a useful source of information.
