As always, feel free to contact us if you want to receive review material.
Senior Agent Chrys has once again done an awesome job, with the help of our Foreign Rights Assistant Nikoleta. A big THANK YOU goes out to you both!
2020 Virtual Frankfurt Book Fair
It is essential in the international publishing business to constantly go out and have personal meetings with acquiring editors, scouts and other publishing professionals at book fairs and on their home turf.
However, these unprecedented times call for a different approach. I will most likely be staying put in California at least until the end of the year. Chrys will not be traveling to Frankfurt either.
We are therefore both excited to take part in the Virtual Frankfurt Book Fair!
As you are probably well-aware, there’s a 9-hour time difference between California and Frankfurt. I will be working on night shifts in order to enjoy the virtual book fair experience to the maximum. This is definitely a first and I’m curious to see how it will play out…
Oh and don’t worry about me keeping my husband and cat awake at night: I found a beautiful place to stay, which is very quiet and surrounded by nature (will be sharing pictures!).
Chrys and I look very much forward to virtually seeing many of you again soon!
