According to Wikipedia, “The number twelve carries religious, mythological and magical symbolism, generally representing perfection, entirety, or cosmic order in traditions since antiquity.”

Encyclopedia Britannica says, “The number 12 is strongly associated with the heavens—the 12 months, the 12 signs of the zodiac, and the 12 stations of the Moon and of the Sun.”

No matter how you feel about the above statements, 12 does have a special, magical ring to it—at least it does for me!
