An inspiring start of a week of meetings here in New York! What a joy it was to discover so many English translations of books that we’ve sold on behalf of our international clients, to visit the stands of our US clients @astrapublishinghouse @catapult @counterpointpress @softskullpress and to witness the crowds gathered around the pleasure of reading 😍

The icing on the cake: arriving at the festival and running into an event featuring Joyce Carol Oates AND meeting Haitian author Emmelie Prophète together with her US publisher @archipelagobooks (who recently published her sixth novel, Cécé) right before she took part in the conversation titled “Literature, Resistance, Survival”.

A day to remember!
