Translation rights agency Co-Founder Marleen Seegers reflects on 2016 and looks forward to 2017

2 Seas Agency wishes you a peaceful and prosperous 2017, may the New Year bring you plenty of excellent international book discoveries. We hope see you at any of the international book fairs that this year has to offer and that we will attend!

2016 was a year marked by challenges, changes that were often not for the better, and too many (early) departures. Yet the agency had an amazing year when it comes to translation rights sales, making 2016 with over 140 international rights deals the best year we’ve had so far. We also traveled to new places and book fairs (the Turin Book Fair for me, and Jr Agent Chrys attended the Sharjah Book Fair for the first time).
